Trauma can create profound and lasting effects on individuals. My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, offering a safe and supportive environment for healing.
I utilize evidence-based techniques and practices grounded in trauma-informed care. My methods include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches are designed to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and develop coping strategies.
I focus working collaboratively with clients to identify specific trauma-related issues, set achievable goals, and track progress throughout the healing journey.
Additionally, I emphasize the importance of self-care and resilience-building. Clients are encouraged to engage in activities that promote well-being outside of therapy. Healing from trauma is a gradual process that requires patience and commitment, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy technique designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. It involves guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, which are used while the therapist encourages the client to recall distressing memories. This process aims to reduce the emotional intensity of the memories and integrate them more adaptively into the individual's cognitive framework.
EMDR is primarily used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as other conditions such as anxiety, depression, phobias, and complicated grief. By facilitating the reprocessing of traumatic memories, EMDR can help clients achieve a greater sense of emotional regulation and overall well-being.
